LAURU SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH HISTORY

"In reviewing our past history, having traveled over every step of advance to our present standing, I can say, Praise God! As I see what the Lord has wrought, I am filled with astonishment, and with confidence in Christ as leader. We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history."

{Ellen G White, Counsels for the Church (1991), p.630}

The 100 years anniversary of the first arrival of Seventh-day Adventist church in Lauru Island will be in 2021.  Lauru people have been blessed abundantly with God's grace since the arrival of Adventist message in the Island.  For this reason, as the 100 year Jubilee of Adventist message in Lauru Island is approaching it is time now for us Lauru people to start discussions about 100 Year Celebration of God's grace, glory and power in Lauru Island.  Like the Israelites who sang and praise GOD for the deliverance after the crossing of the red sea, we Lauru people must sing and praise GOD for His deliverance in our lives.  Let us now share our views with each other, our family, our relatives, and our church Leaders how to celebrate 100 year Jubilee of Adventist message in Lauru Island.
