Layman Ronald Kega is a Layman who lives at Vurango village (his home village).  On Friday, 01 August 2014 Ronald and wife left Vurango village early in the morning for Paturara village.  Ronald would preach at Paturara village on Saturday, 02 August 2014.

The journey took them through Barukuni village.  It took them three hours to walk from Vurango village to Burikuni village.  This segment of the journey involved crossing of the Vachu river - perhaps the longest river in Lauru (Choiseul) island.  Ronald and wife built a raft to cross the Vachu river on their way to Burukuni village.  The couple had a rest at Burukuni village in the home of Layman Lindsay before they continued their walk to Paturara village.

The final trip took them two (2) hours of walk to Paturara village. While at Paturara village Ronald and wife stayed with Lupa Vajua, an Adventist member in Paturara village. There were nine (9) people who attend the worship at Paturara village on Saturday, 02 August 2014.

Ronald & wife returned on Sunday, 03 August 2014.  They passed through Burukuni village and spent time to rest at Burukini village before the return trip to Vurango village.  Layman Lindsay accompanied Ronald & wife on the walk to Vurango village.

Lindsay will continue the trip to Taro then to South Choiseul.  The trip to South Choiseul will involve meetings to prepare Adventist villagers to build the staff house for the clinic at Oliveti village and to cut timbers to build the new Paturara Adventist church.
