Loloko village is a new site of the former Mago village that was situated along the Mago river years ago. Flood on the Mago river destroyed the Mago village so the villagers moved the village to the new, current site, at Lokoko village now.  The current Loloko village is about 5 - 6 kilometres from the Mago river on the coast towards the westerly direction.  If you look at the Loloko village photo on the left of this page, the Mago river will be towards your right.

Loloko village is one of the large Seventh-day Adventist church villages at South Choisuel.  It has an organised church and a provincial Aidpost in the village.  The village has produced a lot of Adventist missionaries in the past and in recent years.  The village still plays a crucial role in the development of the Seventh-day Adventist church as well as in the government and other services in the province and the country.
