POSARAE VILLAGE

Posarae village is on the southcoast of Choiseul Province.  It is one of the largest villages on the island.  The village is currently the site for annual District Meetings for Seventh-day Adventist Church on the Southern region of the island.  Hence, the village plays a pivotal role for the church work in Choiseul Province.

There is a Rural Health Clinic in the village.  It is owned and operated my the government Provincial health services.  There are normally two(2) Registered Nurses who work in the clinic plus a Nurse Aide.

The village also has a anchorage where coastal ships either spend nights or get new water supply for the island trips.  Therefore, the village has important contribution for the development of the island province.
