The management of Choiseul Regional District website realise that the organisation needs to go forward.  As a result it is crucial for a name change to reflect on new strategies that will help the new organisation to go forward. The new structure requires more active involvement of membership. 

Therefore the new organisation, Lauru Supporting Ministry, emerges from the old organisation Choiseul Regional District.  Lauru Supporting Ministry is still a non-profit organisation but the difference is that the new organisation has membership who contribute financially in the works of the organisation.

The new organisation looks forward to have more Choiseul people to join the organisation.  This organisation will continue the same objective of the old organisation.  The main objective has been to support the work of Seventh-day Adventist Church(SDA) in Choiseul Province.

The organisation's main forcus is on Choiseul Province.  This is because Choiseul Province is our homeland and the ministry aims to work more at home before moving forward to other regions.  This underpins our principle to put more importance on homes and homeland as the basis for a successful society.
