The Choiseul Regional District Website Administration Team, based in Australia, has donated a brand new mobile phone to the Choiseul Regional District of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The new Nokia 2310 comes with AUD$10.00 credit and a new sim card ready for connetion and use with the Vodafone mobile Network in Australia. Vodafone sales offices are conveniently located everywhere around Australia, and even at the Brisbane International Airport in Australia. Therefore, it will be easy to connect to the network upon arrival. We hope and pray that the brand new phone will ease communication in and around Australia, and be useful and practical when Church leaders are on business trips in Australia.
The brand new mobile phone also comes with another donation of SBD$1,000. The money is intended to be used in helping with the initial costs involved in setting up the mobile phone in the Solomon Islands, with the extra money to help with communication when the Choiseul SDA Leaders travel to Gizo and Honiara.
The donations are intended to be delivered to Ronald Vaekesa, President of the Choiseul Regional District, and will be taken to the Solomon Islands on the 2nd week of January, 2007.
