WAGINA VILLAGE

Wagina Village

Wagina village is not a Seventh-day Adventist Church village.  However, the village has some Seventh-day Adventist Church members.

Wagina is a Village on the island of Wagina.  The island is on the most southern tip of the land of Choiseul.  The Wagina area has numerous groups of wagina groups of islands but Wagina is the main village on the main island of wagina.

The island of wagina is well known because it is the island in Choiseul where the colonial authorities in Solomon Islands re-settled the migrant people from the island of Gilbert ( now Kiribati) in the pacific in the early 1960s.  These migrants now develop the island into an economical hub of Choiseul.  As a result Wagina village is now  perhaps the most economically advanced village in Choiseul.  The main industries are from the marine resources.
