PAPARA VILLAGE

Papara is predominantly a United Church Village.  The village is on the south coast of Choiseul Province.  It is one of the large villages on South Choiseul.  The notable feature on the village is the Lighthouse on the nearby Vugho'e point.  The village has beautiful black sandy beach.  This black sandy beach provides very good track to the nearby villages kilometres away.

There is a government Rural Health Clinic in the village.  The clinic serves all the nearby villages.

There are some of Seventh-day Adventist(SDA) church members that live on the village.  These SDA church members usually go to the nearest SDA church at Gevala village, which is about a walking distance of 40 minutes along mangrove coastal track.
